as i had my (several) moments during yesterdays
remembrance cora would ask
"mama, you sad"
i told her
"yes honey, it is a sad day"
"i am happy and grateful too"
"for you, and your sister and your daddy"
cora replied
"and for birds and milk"
she is so innocence
she is not scared of terrorist,
planes going into buildings
or war.
someday we will talk about that day
but for now i want to hold on to the innocence
